My family and I currently live about an hour from the nearest Wild Brook Trout Stream, the Jacob Fork River, in North Carolina. Granted we would like to live even closer but work keeps me where I am. I work for a major financial institution in their technology division. As much as I like technology (as you can see by my little presence on the Web) I love my family, the outdoors and sports more.
The outdoors is a family affair. All of us like to fish and hike. We usually take at least one camera wherever we go.
I have been an avid backpacker and outdoorsman my whole life. The photo of Eagle Creek at the right was taken back in 2004 when I went in for a five day solo trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP). Although Hazel Creek seems to get all of the glory in the GSMNP, Eagle Creek has finer fishing, in my opinion, and also minimal human traffic.

Why "DrLogik"?...
I go by the handle/nickname "DrLogik" on a few fly fishing sites and forums. I am not a doctor...of any kind. I was thinking of Star Trek's Spock one day and how "logical" he was. "MrLogic", "MrLogik" and whole host of other combinations were already taken (Logik, Logic, MrLogik, TroutLogic, etc) on Clark's Bamboo Rod Forum (EZBoard). I keyed in drlogik and it came back as available...I've been using it ever since.
